Switching subs in Shaker 1000?

I just bought a 2010 Shelby with Shaker 1000. Is it a pain or even possible to swap those with my new Kenwood 10" subs? Or swap my amp? I'd appreciate any advice. I'm pretty ignorant with audio systems? Thanks you!

I had an 04 with a Mach1000 system in. I swapped out the stock subs for Kicker CVR 10s. It certainly made a difference. The issue I had was getting the plastic boxes to actually seal. The system still had issues with very low frequencies. As for swapping the amps, probably not real easy or even possible. There are numerous amps all wired together. What I ended up doing was ripping all that crap out, running an aftermarket amp on all the door speakers, building a false floor with 2 12s mounted in the spare tire well with a mono block amp pushing them.

All that said, it could be completely different on your car.
