That's probably true.
On Saturday, Rachel and I drove up to Vail in the RS. It was snowing fairly heavily up in the mountains and so traffic was rolling at like 50 mph. It got kind of annoying after a while because I was on snow tires and the car doesn't really give a **** what it's driving over, so I can at least do the speed limit and still be safe. I zoned out for a while and started to think about the early settlers and the bs they had to deal with. Like the Donner party, they got all cold so they just ate each other.
Imagine walking for a ****ing long ass time, not really sure where you are going but you have some what of an idea. Indians are scaring the **** out of you, it's super dry and there isn't any water anywhere. Then you finally get out of Kansas just to realize Colorado looks almost the exact same, but then some huge ass mountains appear. I would probably give up there too, which sucks because back then California was the place to be.
