    You will have to pull the intake manifold off as the IMRC's are sandwhiched inbetween the heads and it. Your injectors are housed in it. You will need to eliminate the butterflies inside the runners, just unscrew them and remove. You will want to spray them with cleaner and then WD40 to help as the screws are tight and you can strip the head easily. If you strip the head just grind it off with a dremel. Once the butterflies are removed you can cut the cables that control the butterflies and remove the control unit. That is after you verified your control unit is not working. I would try cleaning the IMRC's first as that may be all you need to do. Just remember that at some point the control unit will fail as most do.
