~$600 CAI/Tuner
~$150 gears
~$300 install

Just a tick over a grand, give or take. Do it

I would do an intake/tune and look for a used set of axlebacks.

Already found a set of used axle backs.. Also found a used cai... Now for the tuner... Been in the hospital room since 2... It's 1030 and still no baby hahah... Gives me plenty of time to search for parts...

OR/H, CAI, and a SCT SF-3. You'll be happy.
Your car is an 05 so, it should have 3.55 from factory.
Next you can do gears.

Gears should cost you about 500 out the door installed.

JLT intake+SCT is about 500. Less if you buy used.

2005-09 Mustang GT JLT Tuner Kit,Includes JLT Intake, Sct Sf3 Tuner And Bbr Custom Tune at LRS - Same Day Shipping!
499. They offer a forum discount too which means you might be able to get it for under or just at 500 shipped. (their shipping is 14.95)

That leaves you with 500 to do gears. Even if you have 3.55s (look at your rear diff see if there is a sticker, I had 3.31s in my 06) going to 4.10s will be a pretty big difference.

I'm almost positive mine are 331... Which is why I'm really wanting to get 410... I'm buying a pair of slp lm axel backs from a member here once we get out of the hospital. Then all that's left are the cai and tuner

Buy both of them used! Then you may be able to fit something else in there, like LCAs or something.

Unless he is automatic from what I have heard. (although I dont really see how, I have never heard of a tranny using the speedo to deterimine anything about when/how to shift) (I sort of think that is just something that someone was guessing and said, and is incorrect. I would bet on it anyway)

Regardless, 99% of people arent going to want their speedo off like that. So while maybe technically black and white to the letter he doesnt NEED a tuner, its so close to need, that you may as well just say need. My philosophy on it anyway.

I think its stupid to not have a tuner and I would't have done anything to my car without one. I was just messing with you.

Your car is an auto, the first mod should be intake and tune, no ifs ands or buts. Trust me, the difference is night and day.
