Can I use the FRPP intake manifold in conjunction with the CDC shaker hood? Thanks

I asked that question also. The FRPP Intake manifold sites about 3/4" higher than the stock manifold. The scoop will stick up a bit more with it, but the main thing, is that to get the shaker secured to the manifold, you will have to epoxy the holder thingy to the manifold. I might try it when I get the car home from the shop. Right now the Shaker seems a little low in the hole. Maybe the FRRP manifold will fix it.

There isn't 3/4 of an inch to be had with the shaker. Mine is rubbing on the trim ring with a stock manifold and motor mounts. You're gonna have to cut the hell out of the shaker.

Not everyone wants stiffer motor mounts. I also had someone measure the FRPP piece and a stock manifold and they said the difference was a good bit more than 3/4 of inch. That would be cool if you could get it to work, but I think its probably more of a pain in the ass than anything. If you want a different intake with a shaker, get a Super Shaker
