If the motor is out of the car since you are fixing it I would be inclined to do headers now. I don't know a non foul language way to say it that describes how I feel about this, but fuck doing headers on newer cars while the motor is in. Doable, yes. Pain in the butt, yes as well.

That said if you were going BMR watts then I know it is on sale for less than 500 at LMR right now. I don't know what black friday deals will bring though.

With the Torque Arm and Watts Link I would be able to put some power down nicely and be able to use all of the available power I will be making on the track not to mention just have the car handle even better than it already does. According to Cortex, this is how they prefer to up the handling in stages so it would be nice to get a feel for it before jumping to other mods.

With the Electric Water Pump and Ceramic coated headers I would be able to get closer to my goal of 580 on E85 but at a certain point the power becomes useless since I wouldn't be able to hook up on the street. Not to mention I am not certain how well the electric water pump would hold up on track or if it won't be enough to keep everything cool so it would have to come off in place of the factory water pump so I would be spending money on a mod that would get me to a number that calculates how much power I would be making considering I'm 9,000% sure if I ever took my car to the strip I would end up frying the clutch and blowing up the rear end.
Torque arm and watts. The combo of suspension parts is gonna make a more substantial difference in drivability over the minor bump in power from the pump/headers.

I have a cortex TA sitting in my closet waiting to go on. Can't wait, epic amounts of forward traction under throttle await.

I say headers cuz sound and performance. You can get the car to hook with the suspension done now... Guarantee it.

I'm getting the impression that boost may be in my future.

There's still a lot I want to do. I want an aluminum driveshaft, weld front wheels, roush upper/lower grill. Or maybe I can just do that over time, and buy some boost now. Decisions

Well I have the headers I just have to get them powder coated. I think I am going to piece together an oil cooler setup, powdercoat the headers and the Cortex bits.

Yeah, I am really wanting to do those two mods first before I delve into the coilovers. I'm looking forward to how well the car handles at this point once the spring arrives. I went out and got some BMR adjustable LCA's since I can't justify the $550 for the Cortex LCA/Relocation bracket kit. I'm thinking that they are just adjustable LCA's so they should work regardless.

Well I think I am going to need to go with mufflers to quiet down the car a bit. I think the SVT Sports are going to be too loud without the cats and resonators it will be pretty loud.

Not with the coilover setup and high rates he will be running, he's gonna need some serious geometry advantages since he will be on lower profiles, at higher pressures, with stiff rates. JMO. But I think the point of doing headers while the motor is out is a good idea....easy install.

I'm thinking about selling my Boss manifold and AirAid if anyone is interested.

My squeak is still here. I drove it a second ago and it sounds like it's coming from the rear passenger side of the car rather than the front. I took my mom to my grandparents' last night and she said it sounds like it's coming from the back as well.

Lol!

CPR Turbo would be fun, I should of just originally done that. But to pricey for me now. A TVS would be nice, but buying one new is not an option. I'm looking at either a used TVS kit or a novi 2200. Leaning towards a novi. For a street car, I like the way a centri builds power.

More torque earlier in the powerband; it'll be faster and feel faster. Riding in my friends Paxton car w/out a wastegate on 9.5psi and comparing it to another friends Paxton car on 10psi wastegated was a HUGE difference. Wastegated car has trapped 138 before, other car has been like 132ish or some shit. 138 car is an auto, however.

He's MT82.

Paxton and auto is a STOUT setup. Always in boost. Paxton, stall, wastegated at 10psi = 9 second passes damn near every time.
