Agree. Their black Friday stuff was stupid. Unless you found things like the Comp cams for $375 or Brembo calipers for $62.50, then the rest of the sale was meh.

This. It is why I didn't spend a damn dime on car parts when I was planing to. I gotta say I would have liked to snag one of those calipers for 62.50 but oh well.

I'm thinking of going CPR again. Definitely leaning towards that. After seeing snot rocket going 9s in the 140s and signal go 9.8 at 138 on 93 with stock motors, I'm very impressed. I was just about to pull the trigger on a tvs kit, decided to shoot dustin a text. Just need to save some more money, of course Christmas right around the corner, It'll be a month or 2 til I order.

Think I'd just go with the same setup I had ordered last year. 7683, air to air intercooler, dumped gate. Probably just run off of gate pressure (9psi) and run a 93 and 100 octane tune.

DO IT YOU PUSSY. DON'T SELL THE DAMN KIT THIS TIME. Brett's car is a fucking animal. It is going to flat move with the new setup he has. I'm curious to hear how he's gonna like that 87mm exhaust turbine as well compared to his other. I would loooooove a CPR kit but man, they are not cheap

For sure, I was going to originally do the 7687 but dustin told me since I'm a stick car, go with the 83.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I'm still living with my parents. Unfortunately, rent or houses out here are out of my price range for now. Why I was really debating on moving out to Michigan. Found a house there I liked, a ranch with a decent size front/back yard. 3 bedroom, 2 bath and garage for $87k. That house, in my area would of gone for atleast $350k. I'm skeptical if the plant out there is going to last. I have a feeling they may go tits up and shut down, which is why I didn't commit to the job out there. I told them in a year or two after its running steady, I'd definitely consider it.

That was his first pass on the new setup. Went 147 on the footbrake later that night and according to Brett (WBT) if the track was prepped better it would have went 150. He even DD's the car without the front sway bar oooooo. I'm not certain which Brett you are talking about Treyson but he is thinking of going with the JPC kit fairly soon on his car.

Ah, i bet that's why. They were $125. I'm wondering if they "lowered" pricing when an item went out of stock. If so I wonder how much those $375 cams really were.

Hondasaki on SVTP.

I like the JPC kit but one thing that I see is the turbo they use. 7675. Seems almost too small for these cars. I like how CPR uses BW turbo's, which obviously they work well. Not that Precision is a bad turbo brand, I'd just rather have a BW unit on my car.

JPC's race kit is fucking nuts. Crazy how well that setup works with the 85mm.

Too small? Jeff ran an 8.23 @ 167 with his Boss at Import Vs. Domestic on the first time the car has seen some dry weather from what I my understanding is. I forget what Dasan ran before the car broke but I don't think it was near a 8.23. The 7675 is more than capable with the right kit, I mean this isn't EDP here or anything. I'm pretty sure JPC has proved that on the multitude of kits out there that are making some great power and really moving out.

Hence why I put "small" in italics... Dasan has a CPR kit, doesn't he? Or did he have a JPC kit? And do you really think Jeff's car is running a 7675? Lol. That car isn't running the entry level kit that they sell to anyone...

Obviously the JPC kits perform very well. I just like the design of the CPR kits better. I think they look cleaner. And I also really like the BW turbos. Just sound alone lol. I also like how CPR uses a custom K member. I'd want to do a k member anyways, but obviously won't need one if I go CPR. And the ability to run a sway bar is a plus... although I won't lol. But it's nice knowing you can.

Here's SignalZero's car. That thing spooling sounds absolutley ridiculous

https://youtu.be/5pN_0lOZZMU

He made 718/690 on 11psi and 15°. On 93 octane and went 9.8 @ 138. Before the auto he was going mid to low 10s in the mid 130s. You very rarely see that out of a centri/roots car unless it's on fuel and pretty light.

CPR kits most definitely have a distinct sound and I love it. I have yet to see a manual or hell even auto car going that fast with a Centri or TVS on pump gas...
