That's how you do it. Lol.

So I've been working for 3 weeks now and after setting up all my investment/saving stuff, I won't be buying as many car parts as I'd hoped.... Oh well...

Better to be financially stable than buy a bunch of shit, I reckon.

I was driving 156 miles a day. Did it for two years. Now that I drive 22 miles I day I have tons of free time. lol
Once I took this job I started putting a lot more back in the retirement account. I'm going with a Roth 401k though. Pay my taxes up front and won't be taxed on the back end (When taxes will be inevitably higher) when I start to draw when I retire.

I may be moving closer to work soon as well. Which is another thing pushing me to get rid of the car.

I'm debating about opening a roth ira as well. I have a little over 2k that I'm wanting to dump somewhere but I'm not sure where I want it.

I'm moving closer maybe by the end of the year if I'm lucky. I'm not going to get my hopes up, though simply because I know I won't be able to save every dollar I earn.

If you hate the job I'd highly suggest against it. Stay at your parents and put back $$$$ as long as they don't mind.

I'd really look into stock options to be honest. If I had $2-5k in cash to invest I'd honestly buy a couple shares of Google stock (Goog). I wish I had bought a few shares about 6 months ago. I'd be turning a few hundred in profit right now. Or even Amazon. Both are going to continue to climb for the foreseeable future. Amazon I think is going to gain get a bit over the next 1-2 years as they buy out smaller companies and introduce new shipping options.
I just don't know how taxes work on stock gains is the main reason I don't get into it.

I hate the job but I don't see myself leaving it. I've looked around and nothing really would make sense to leave it for. It's a good job, just being there really fucking sucks.

Yeah I looked into both of those and even Tesla. Guess I'll just have to learn more about the stock market because I don't know shit about it.

Do the people suck as bad as the job? If they do, I wouldn't waste your time.

I get along with and like everyone I work with, besides one. He just got moved to our area and I'd really like to just fight him lol. He's a fuck. Thinks he knows everything, is obnoxious as hell, and his ego is about as big as the Golden Gate bridge.

Didn't get the day off today but I'll be able to leave at 3. Hopefully I'll get to wash my car and throw some 845 on it. Guess we'll see.

Noticed that truck I really wanted sold. I'm going to regret not buying it big time.
Dry washed the top half the car today. Rain sucks.

Time to move. Don't limit yourself to a life of crap just because you're in a particular location. If for some reason I ever lose my current job, my house is going on the market and I'm packing my crap and moving to another state.

Putting time in at a good company that you have to make a small sacrifice for and will be with long term is significantly better than putting 5-7 years in at a job you know you'll inevitably leave.

Once you learn the fundamentals (and ignore all the in-depth technical crap) it's easy. Kinda similar to Craps once you break it all down. IE: Just scratch the surface of the game rules and you know enough to play with little risk and make $ (albeit not as great a potential payout as more risk). Get more in depth with the rules and start playing with more risk for a potentially larger payout (or loss).

Me either. Instead of working 4-10's this week we work 4-8's and get tomorrow off. The only thing I dislike about this company that I liked better at the last. They would give us the holiday off, let us work 3-10's and simply sacrifice 2 hr's (or use personal time). I was fine with that. Meant an extra day off at the cost of only 2 hrs.

I know a place that is pretty close that you can get on and make some decent money. We are in dire need of some thermoforming technicians that are mechanically inclined. Business is getting ready to get crazy. I can make it happen pretty fast if you're interested. Text me if you are. I'm being serious lol.

Do it, Treyson!

Bought a drivers side jlt catch can but I'm currently having a problem. There's obviously some adapter I need but does anyone know where to get one?

Wtf. lol Is that a JLT CAI? If so you'll probably have to call them. Why did you get a driver's side if you aren't FI? It's the passenger side you want if you're NA.

Also I'd recommend replacing that sound tube blanking cap soon. It can be hard to detect if one of those cracks splits all the way through and creates a vacuum leak.

It's a steeda cai. Yeah the cap is going to be replaced before the weekend. That size cap is for some reason hard to find.

I'd call Airaid and see if they won't sell you one separately. They use a hefty thick cap which secures with a worm cap and I think will never give any more issues. IMO it'd be worth 5-8 bucks if they will. I don't know about that PCV port though. That still looks odd. Looking at the site from what I can tell it looks like it's missing the coupler, grommet and clamps.

Washed mine today as well. It's crazy how a clean car can change your mind lol.

Also dropped $1250 on my car five minutes ago. Anyone want to take a stab and guess what it was? Lol
