I have one. I like it, but it is the 4" and I had to mod my floor tunnel a tish to allow clearance. A 3.5" would be much easier to install. I'm at (-)1.5 degrees pinion angle. Zero vibrations.

Offer $300 for it.

My install thread is in the stickies.

Exactly what I was thinking of doing today, now I'm for sure not putting a driveshaft in

Re: coast DS ?

That is the shaft I run. They come in standard for 500 ft/lbs. And a higher torque model which added a hundred bucks. New mine was 595. It's 4" but there is no clearance problem unless your lowered. Then you should relocate the parking brake cable clamp. It has a critical speed of like 8000 rpm so I am good to like 183 with my 3.73s and stock tires. 20,000 miles so far with zero vibration at any speed I have been to. It's handling the eforce fine too. Soon I will find out what happens with stickier tires.

Yep. I don't have any before and after times but I'm pretty confident I gained a tenth, if not two, in the 1/4 mile. Doesn't sound like much, but it can be the difference between a 12.1x to 11.9x.

Really??! It makes that much difference? I might start saving for it. Would I gain more in the 1/8 the with this Ds or Lt headers. I'm torn between the two.. headers will be cheaper though Cruz less parts required to install.

Personally I don't think they're all that great, I've had to replace 1 u-joint already and it has some vibration over the stock shaft.

How do you figure? My driveshaft took me all of an hour and a half to change. My headers took two afternoons.

Well you shouldn't have any vibration. And it was probably the vibration that caused the joint to fail. What shaft do you have? Have you tried clocking it to get rid of the vibration? Have you tried to get it balanced.

Not counting the reduction in rotational mass, just the 1-piece design is leaps and bounds better than the 2-piece with the carrier bearing in the middle.

What Boss said.

This is a great mod. You can definitely FEEL the difference. It changes the car for the better.

durr was saying I need an adjustable uca and stuff to make the shaft work. but less pparts required as in I already have a shorty x pipe to fit mac long tubes. so I just need the headers to finish that gig
