There is nothing wrong with painting your calipers red if that's what you want to do.

A lot of companies other than Brembo offer painted calipers, and people were painting their calipers long before Brembo even made brakes. I see nothing wrong with painting your own.

The paint actually protects the calipers.

+1 they already come with a clear to keep them protected and keep them from rusting. i've been thinking about doing mine, but i don't want red or black. maybe if there was a darker red

Rule# 1. Never take advice from a ricer

Rule# 2. A ricer will always try to steer you wrong because he is jealous.

Rule # 3. Even if a ricer is fast it still looks like shit

A man with experience is never at the mercy of a man with a theory.

I was talking to a roush sales rep and he actually told me not to waste my money on the roush brakes because the stockers that come on our mustangs are damn good brakes......SO PAINT AWAY! I did mine and took a little ford sticker and stuck them on them to make them look even more unique.

The stockers can't touch a set of brembos or Baers. The stockers will fade after a few laps. The aftermarkets will let you go all day fade free.

You can make the stock calipers feel better with aftermarket rotors. you can get a set of front 14" rotors for $600.
