Well it finally happend, someone hit the stang...

30 days into owning my baby, tonight at work this chick decided to back into my car. I literally park at the back of the parking lot in the far corner, she parked wayy in front of me and she backed straight into my door. Now I'm officially in the high school mustang club, with another wrecked mustang, at the least... it's not my fault. Cant even open the passenger door, so it looks like i will be riding solo for a while.

I was in the kitchen at our restaurant and she came in and said,"Arent you the guy who drives the white Mustang?" I said o.o "WHY?" And she was like," I may have backed into your car. " I was said," WHAT??? HOW?? I don't even Park near ANYBODY?" She replied," Well, I was backing out and didn't see it, but it's no big deal, I just bumped it. "

Noooo!! Yeah I hate when shit like that happens. She was talking about how its ok, insurance will fix it, Its just a car. I said just a car??? This car is my baby, it would be like somebody running over your kid and breaking all his bones and saying yeah it'll be ight. My rear bumper has a good gap in fitment now where it meets the side. also She broke the right upper mount is what it looks like, because it's pretty loose up top and down the right side, so I'm going to need a new bumper? plus the body work and then to paint the side of my car since there is cracks in the paint and damage from the shock wave. My friend did the same to this girls Mustang except he just rubbed down the door to the scoop area also except flattend it a bit not t boning it and it was 4500$.

That sucks. I feel you on parking far. I park my car like hundreds of yards away from other cars. I've been lucky so far. But I get sad at just the thought of this happening to mine.

It does suck when things happen like this. And yes, it can be fixed. Just make sure to have a reputable shop do the work, and use only Ford parts to fix. Best way to ensure a proper repair.

And it was only the car that got hurt. Everything else will be fine.

Sorry to hear about the car and so soon after purchase! Only 1 of the 13 vehicles I've owned have been hit and it happened twice in about 8 months after purchase. That car didn't stay around long...

Ohhhhh, man! I feel ya. Glad everyone is ok and wish speedy repairs for you. How do you back into someone from that far away though??? Do people regularly make habits of flooring their car in reverse without looking in the rearview mirror until they're in the next parking lot?

haha, exactly. she was about 20 feet away from me parked next to the row in front of me and to the right about 6 spots. I seriously doubt she even turned around. My friend came out there with me and was like," How tf did you hit him? You dont even have window tint, its not even dark!" I was freaking out but I tried to be calm because she is one of those people who cant even breath when she gets nervous and she does like a weird squat. I didnt want to be too mean and have her do something crazy later on.
