I didn't even know Crower made cams for the 3V, where did you see those?

Might be the same reason nobody has Lunati's either. They were late getting into the game (just within the last 2 years) whereas Comp, Ford Racing and others have already had theirs for several years. So, people are more interested in the ones that are "proven" vs. the unknown.

I completely agree with you i was just wondering if they are any good. Just cause they got a late start doesnt mean they dont work. Ive always been a fan of crower but i can only find a few grinds for the 3v

I'm sure they do work, the question is how well? And that's the question I can't seem to find the answer for with the Lunati cams.

In all the searching I've done, there's one video posted on youtube by blue collar performance of a car with Lunati's "stage 1" springs-required cam...no dyno chart, just says it makes 330 rwhp "detuned due to mileage" (because it has 100K), and then I found an article by Mustang 360 where they built an engine with Lunati's "Stage 3" springs-required cam but have yet to do a follow up where they actually dyno the engine.

Beyond that...crickets. I can't find anything anywhere about their NSR cams and Lunati has no dyno charts or anything on their own website. How you can expect to sell cams with no information on results I have no idea. Lunati has 14 different grinds for the 3V engines and you can basically find squat about them. Boggles my mind.

So, hopefully Crower will actually put up some numbers or information.

Compare spec sheets. Find a cam that has a similar or close grind and performance should mirror that.

Crowed is a good company. Been around for as long as I can remember.

I'm pretty sure I used a crower cam in a 429 I built for my 70 Mach 1. Worked well but the car needed more stall. It was a perfect example of throwing parts at something and hoping for the right results. Planning the build then buying all the supporting mods is the smart way to do it.

CMS Cams +1. I am running them, and got a friend to run them. He dyno'd before and after and made 38hp 36tq gains. Ill link my car so you can hear what the idle sounds like, the power for sure is great, especially now that I have 373 gears!

My car- Idle was set @ 775. I think its perfect right around 675.

Full bolt ons. CMS Cams. And forever slow.

This. Any reputatable cam manufacturer will be fine...Comp, Crane, Lunati, Crower, etc. BBR and Livernois have their cams ground by someone else (probably Comp), as does Brenspeed.

It is the GRIND that matters.

Here...marinate on this:

If you want Brenspeed specs you need to do some searching. You can find them, but they don't publish them openly. They think VooDoo and secret recipes sell. At KFC and Coca Cola it does...I can't say I agree for cams but to each their own. Brent White says that "most folks don't understated cams specs anyway", and he's right...so users of Detroit Rockers trust Brenspeed to recommend a proper cam for their goals - which is not a bad idea if you know less than they do.

I'm blown and will be running the red ones.

Dimora, I have searched and searched and was only ever able to find the blower grind for the rockers...as many others, I will not put a cam in with unknown specs. Which is why I went with CMS cams

07 gt, CMS cams, hurst, CAI/tuned, LT's, o/r h, m80's, FRPP mani, UDP, lowered with steeda 1.25/1.5, exedy mach 400/race flywheel, 1-pc DS, BMR upper/lowers, 4.10's, CHE brace with TL's, and a few other things that dont add up to much.
