I have an intercooled NOVI 2200sl on mine, and I did NOT use a kit. I pieced it together and saved a lot of money. Every penny that I have in it is $5,004 to the dollar. That includes stall rental time, buying two different fuel pump setups (long story), two separate dyno sessions, all parts, EVERYTHING. Every part is arguably better than what comes in the kit, except maybe the intercooler itself since its the one on ebay, but it works remarkably well. CX Racing makes a no hassle intercooler kit for under $500. I built it so that the supporting mods will be able to get me to the 600+ WHP range with a stronger bottom end. The 2200s can get you close to the 1000 hp mark supposedly. Its a bitchin setup if I do say so myself. Got me to 432 WHP with stock manifolds, stock h-pipe, stock cams, stock everything except a muffler delete. Adding headers and x pipe alone will be good for 450+ at the wheels.
