If i remember correctly, i used a 1/2" ratchet with a 3' bar on it. Put the transmission in low gear and pulled the emergency brake as far up as i could, that took care of business the same to put it back.
On the driver side of the block under the head near the bell housing (block side) theres a rubber gromet pull that out. Rotate the engine around till you see a converter bolt (14mm) stick a pry bar in and hold the bolt while trying to break the crank pulley bolt loose.
