Lets hear those exhaust setups!

Hey Guys! I apologize if this has already been brought up 100 times but Iím looking at off road H-pipes and X-pipes and wanting to know your guys opinions. Which one would you go with, why and if possible post a video. The car currently came with Ford Racing Gt500 axel backs and Iím looking to add a little more grunt without getting too raspy. Thank for your help!

I do agree, that does sound great! It seems itís hard to make the 5.0 sound bad and Iím guessing mine would be slightly tamer with the ford racing axle backs..

I had those on my blue car with an off road h, sounded good to me at the time. Now that I have Magnaflows on this car, they really sounded like they were priced- cheap.

I know you just bought the car with them on it, but I'd look at something like the Magnafliws or Borlas to get some good tone first.

And before you ask- no I don't have a video of my car now. I'm too busy driving it.

Thanks for the advice I will look into that! I know if it was me I would not have gone with the ford racing AB but I was hoping to make due with what I had.

With them still. I am debating on having them taken out though but it might be too raspy then. This setup will wake the dead when I am on it. It can be very tame though if I need it to be, but mother of God does it get rowdy when I'm on it. It made my friends ear ring one day when he was next to me in his truck flooring it, so I did a fly by and he said it hurt his ears haha.

I love it though, sounds exactly how I was wanting. Just wish there wasn't so much drone. I really want a set of Corsa Extreme's or S types to try out.

Evans car had the bassani, no resonators, Kooks headers and off road x. That's the sound I'm going for. His car sounded so badass. He said they had no drone. I felt like my Kooks were less droney when I took the resonators out

I'd say the longtubes helped on the drone issue. Maybe I need to go get these things cut out then, haha. The way my setup is now, whenever you get around 2k the drone can be pretty bad. It wouldn't be bad if I were on a level road, but it's the fact that my drive every day has so many hills where the cruise has to kick in which is why the drone is so bad.

Well I still had the resonators on when I put headers on. I remember the drone kind of going away after resonators delete. Idk I could be wrong.
