Post the small touches you've done to your ride

Taking those off the side makes a big difference. I'm working on my brake calipers tomorrow. Gonna do an epic paint job on them. Gonna be awesome.

Right on! What color are you painting them? I did mine in red last year and it made a huge difference.

Nice changes, xocolleenox. Not being an S197 owner, I never would have picked up on the changes. I like what you've done. It could pass for stock with as clean as it is.

Gotta be red. Especially on a black car with the chrome stockers. The "cobra" letters on the calipers are gonna be sanded free of the paint, leaving them bright, and the small brackets are gonna be painted black.

Agreed with wabash. Nice, small changes but looks badass, Colleen.

Awesome! Same as mine, I sanded the letters as soon as the paint was dry too.

Cut out the honeycomb grill area an made it functional:

Painted the parchment vents black and color matched the bezel, also color matched the small defrost vents

This is just the inside.
Vinyl wrapped the dash.
Painted the bezels, the ring and the vent itself.
Door window switch console and door handles swapped out as well. Billet aluminum for both.
Painted steering column pieces as well, changing them all the red again I think.

Expensive, that functional grill is awesome.

I'd like to paint my calipers, but I don't know if that would just be silly to do with the unimpressive stock v6 brakes, and stock wheels.

Boring! But clean lol

I guess red is really the only choice. Black or silver wouldn't stand out much. Blue or yellow would just be ... questionable.

The second thumbnail here...

Dupli-Color Brake Caliper Paint Kit - Black (79-13 All) - BCP402 Customer Pictures | AmericanMuscle.com

Black doesn't do much with the stock wheels.

Thank you!

Oh and did that too

Two more things:

Cleaned off all of the sound deadening material, and painted the floor pan:

Looks like crap because I welded in the car, repainted it again afterwards tho.

And:
When I did my color change I removed the carpet from my door panels and did some carbon feebray:

Pictures were mid install so they hadn't been trimmed all the way yet.

Did you put the sound deadening back in?

That would be uncomfortable.

I'm not sure. I'm assuming it was an option but I like that carbon fiber look better than any vinyl stuff I've seen. It's more subtle.

The vent color I switched to actually came stock on some as well. I wanna say Bullitts but I can't rember for sure. But just the part that pops out (circular part and actually vent blade part) is $40 per vent. Screw that, lal.
