First Mustang after waiting 55 years!

Hey, Guys. New here. I was in college when Mustang appeared. I have wanted one ever since, but then life got in the way.... My roommate's mother bought him one. Hated the guy. I'm not doing major mods and started out simple: black 5.0 badge, carbon fiber dress-up inserts, splash guards (surprisingly small and not noticeable but effective), etc..

Anyway, I don't know if this is the place to ask questions, so I will.

I bought LED bulbs for the interior. Mirrors no problem. Dome lights, ouch. Left one went in OK. Right one - the socket apparently wasn't seated, because when I pushed the bulb in, the socket disappeared into the dome cover. And the bulb didn't seat. Now I can't get to the socket.

Question: Can I take the dome cover off? There's an air bag in it, and I could see myself popping one off. Don't need any greater disasters. Help? Thanks.

It comes off but youll likely break the tabs, its pretty common. And no there isnt an airbag in there thats just the light for the passenger airbag.
