|Aristocrat Autosport||Hey man, loving the thread and how the goat's coming along! If you ever need aftermarket stuff for the GTO or the WRX in the future, I can definitely get you some good hookups on parts if you need 'em! Cheers!|

2016 was rough for me car wise. I spent months and a lot of money dealing with selling one house and buying another.
I did some minor stuff to the WRX, but the GTO collected dust all year. Couldn't let that happen this year so I ordered the parts for doing a CTS-V brake swap. Calipers, pin kits, pads, rotors, mounting hardware, and stainless steel lines ran me just around 2k. Not too bad for a 6 piston front/4 piston rear brake set up.
The new garage:
The massive difference in pad size:
Of course the calipers showed up to the house the day I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled. Did a quick mock up that day to make sure the 6 piston calipers would clear my wheels. The caliper clears the barrel narrowly. The spokes are pretty close as well but not as bad.
Got around to actually putting them on yesterday. Finished up the rears, still need to do the fronts today, then bleed the system and I'll be pretty close to having her back on the road. Still need to put fresh oil in her, and I'm waiting on some open ended lug nuts for the rears. Decided to install ARP extended wheel studs while I had the e brake assembly all torn apart.
Here is the rear:
Those rotors are nearly an inch larger than the old front rotors. I'm super happy with how they fill out the wheels. Now I'm just ready to test them. lol

|Sixpointslow||Finally got off my ass to do the suspension. Jacked the car up, pulled the shocks, struts, and springs. Went to do the rear and realized I got sent the wrong rear springs, so that blows. Went ahead and did the front end and put the old rear stuff back on for now. Looks like I'll be waiting a few weeks, but it is what it is. Just going to go ahead and mount the wheels and tires next week with OCMD Fall Cruisin' two weeks away.|

|oooo2stang||The 710's have always been one of my favorite wheels. I wanted them so bad for my b5s4. There is a buddy with a silver 6.0 around with a set of the 710's on it and it looks great.|

Life's been kicking me in the balls money wise for awhile now, but finally got some stuff done to the car.
Replaced the shitty AEM intake the PO had installed with a Vararam OTR intake. Went with a BTR stage 3 cam with hardened pushrods, BTR .660 platinum dual springs, and replaced the 45k mile oil pump with a high volume melling. Pre-cam the car put down 363whp and 359 wtq with a TSP tune, otr intake, longtubes, and a bassani exhaust. After the cam install she put down 432whp and 398wtq.
Still need to install my suspension goodies. I have a set of Koni adjustable shocks and struts to go with King HHD springs and a few poly bushings to replace some of the worn factory rubber ones. Once I get that handles I have a set of gunmetal VMR v710's to mount to the car. 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. I have 245/40 Hankook Ventus V12's for the front and the same tire in 275/35 for the rear.

Not going to lie, these cars have some pretty good power and sound pretty good!
Would never trade up for one thought.

|DenimXR6||Just saw your GTO, nice car, the Australian equivalent to that, is the Commodore Monaro.. not sure what size engine they have in them, a 6.0L or 6.2L?, but they have some very wild cams out here for them, one called Turbo Killer, that that cam develops some high hp, but I hear that theyre a bitch driving around town, tho they sound awesome, might pay to check out some Aussie sites on them.. cheers, and goodluck with it..|

|Cabikejumper||Got it back Saturday actually.|

It's been slow for me. Did a hold over TSP tune until I have my heads/cam and can get up to RPM.
I pretty much stopped all overtime and the wife took a job making a bit less money in the summertime to make more money overall, and to have better hours. So needless to say, cars have been on the back burner.
Cabikejumper, have you gotten the car back yet?
