My car is an anomaly across all fronts. Made stupid power/"impossible" boost for the mods, transmission gave out at 717rwhp, DS joint failed, etc. Most of these things don't happen with normal GT500s. All of my points in the other thread are valid. There are plenty of GT500s out there with stock TR6060s, aside from the clutch and shifter, that have well over 1000rwhp and see regular track time.

Won't know exactly what is wrong until I pull it but the input shaft bearing I know need replacing, 6th gear is shot, the other 5 aren't happy.

Rainbow So I blew the transmission Straight two hours of nothing but romping on the car and a final WOT 15-140mph pull made the trans give up. I managed to limp it home thankfully. Shit happens, time for upgrades.

Rainbow I've heard that from everyone Everyone likes them, including myself. I don't like them more than the TFs though.

BlackWidowStang I actually like those wheels haha. They don't look bad at all.

Rainbow Temporary wheels while mine are being powdercoated. Also, pics of said Corbeau CR1s.

Seats

Rainbow Installed the Corbeau CR1s, 4 point harnesses, and the Corbeau Harness Bar. Seats are fantastic, harnesses are weird, install took way fucking longer than it should have. All in all, worth it. It's late though, only pic I have sucks so I'll post some in here when I get better ones.

Next up, BMR tubular K and then probably install the Watts link I have laying around.

In all fairness, they do go pretty well with the hood louvers.

08s did as well. 07 was a terrible first year. Lots of problems/issues with them. I didn't even bother looking at 07s when I was searching for my car. If I was a collector, a first year model would interest me, but as someone who wanted to mod and drive the car, 08/09 was the only way to go.

Ah I see they were an option for 08/09.

Rainbow Stopped by my buddy's shop to check in on the wheels and drop off the lugnuts to be done to match. Lawd they look good. They weren't even cleared yet, just powdercoated.

Its a surprise.

But I'll probably end up leaving them on there for a bit to see if they grow on me.

Rainbow What do you think of the quarter window louvers? I wasn't sure how they'd look. I had them laying around from my old car and went ahead and told the paint shop to repaint them while they were at it.

Also, the wheels are being powdercoated by a buddy of mine right now.
