I'm horrible at updating this thread. Since my last update I have gotten a pair of Hoosier quick time pros, blown up a diff, rebuilt it and pulled some 1.6 60fts and I'm now in the process of putting in a built rear with a spool and 35 spline axles. Hoping to bring the 60 down to 1.5 or even 1.4. I'm gunning for 10s on the stock block. |

So I found out my drivers side axle is slightly bent. It's nothing serious but it just means my rear is probably gonna get built soon. I'm in the middle of buying a house so I can't do anything huge right now. That bent axle has been the source of the squeak I've had in the rear since I bought the car. I took off the brake pads and sanded of the edges so at least it stopped squeaking. The car also got new street wheels and tires today, in prep for the mm meet. No more amazing traction everywhere I go :/. My Mickeys are almost done for so I'm probably gonna get some Hoosiers to replace them. I'm also gonna be putting on some maximum motorsports caster camber plates and a new hub when my buddy gets here. Anyway here's the new wheels. 19x10 square with 275/40/19's wrapped around them. Surprisingly my car sits almost an inch higher even though the wheels are supposedly the same diameter. ![]() |

Towelie | The 2 step? I fucking love the thing. I still have to do some tweaking with the wot shift feature but the thing leaves the hole like you wouldn't believe |

Lemkau77 | Have you been able to do much driving with the launch control? Just curious how you like it? |

I bought some stuff last night. Some caster/camber plates, a set of sumitomo htr z 3's and a new wheel hub. All in prep for the mm meet. After I buy a house I'm gonna get some subframe connectors and motor mounts, and a few other things. A bunch of stuff I should have had all along |

On another note, I found a station around me that sells e85. Maybe a conversion is in my future. ---------- Post added at 04:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:27 PM ---------- Bought some street wheels today and got a screaming deal thanks to @AMAlexLazarus now I just need to buy some tires and I'll be good to go for the MM meet this summer Towel - Thanks for the love and support. Don't hesitate to let me know if anything else and I'm here to help. Alex |

---------- Post added at 05:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:06 PM ---------- Im also gonna give this stuff a go. I've heard good things, we'll see how it goes for me. Shit seems simple enough ![]() That sounds like a pretty stout motor. I could see finding a space to put it being a big issue though. Post up some pictures of how that stuff works, I have a black car as well, and am curious for future reference. |

Towelie | Theres a bit of a learning curve with it but I think i've got it figured out. I think they wrote the instructions for somebody who is much more generous with the paint than me, as I've done a lot of chips and still have a full bottle of paint. I just mainly have to tackle the passenger side door because that paint is fucked, from when the trailer the car was on blew a tire. This car is eventually gonna get a full respray but this is helping a fuck ton. |

Cammin' 08 | Dr colorchip isnt bad. Don't expect it to look brand new again but it will look way better. You can do multiple laye4s also to fill bigger chips. |

Lemkau77 | That sound like it could be a good deal, what short block, and what is it rated for? |

So I just found a new built shortblock on craigslist for 4000. dude had the car in the shop getting the engine and trans built and a tree fell on the car totaling it out. so he's selling the drivetrain. man this is tempting. |
