The drug lords would do everything in their power to prevent something happening to the United States. That's where they get all their income from. You don't help someone blow your customers to smithereens.

That's a damn good point bc I was thinking about that when I seen some associates talk about that or use memes on FB talking about we need to focus on the homeless here at home when it comes to this situation when just a matter of weeks ago they would have been and even were throwing flames at those who were less fortunate.

Now they put them up as a sheild in a way from what I seen from some ppl on fb and that's pure b.s. imo. I understand where some ppl are coming from with that point no doubt but when many were just talking a certain way about the down and out just a mattet of weeks ago and then they use that in this situation imo it's beyond sad and sick to see.

It also wraps back to my last comment. What are the consequences of ignoring the refugee problem while we simultaneously bomb Syria? The most glaring one would have to be the empowering of ISIS through effectively recruiting people to their cause for them. I hate to say it, but this is why we need to stop playing with the power structure over in these Middle Eastern countries. We kill Saddam, and suddenly those poor people we just "saved" from his dictatorship are free to form and/or strengthen these terrorist networks, often with weapons we or some other retarded ass country fucking provided them back when they were rebels to the whatever regime we were trying to remove.

This video made a lot of sense to me. What is ISIS most powerful weapon? Its recruiting, its volume. If they can't recruit they are eventually going to disappear. The more we discriminate, and outcast innocent people, the more likely they will turn to ISIS. That's why we need to do the opposite, we have to stand together, strong, as one. The whole world needs to be united, and fight ISIS as one, not matter color or religion. ISIS is not a religion, they are an extremist group. If we start discriminating people that follow Islam, kicking them out of our countries, they will end up going back to the middle east and have no choice than to either join ISIS or most likely die.

This is a very interesting point that many overlook even on some smaller scales. We all know that fears have been stirred up in quite a few and rightfully so but when when you continuously point the finger at a group of(any) ppl in a negative light , alienate them, or push them away you can start to create an enemy. And if there was an enemy there already doing that just helps that enemy grow. That even goes back on a smaller scale to some of the social and political issues we face here.

So it's a very complex problem that shouldn't be lead in with just fears alone bc clearly it's already a problem but we possibly have the potential to make it all grow based off of our actions/reactions. On the refugee note I have heard they have to go through more vetting to get into this country vs the others. Idk it's a touchy situation and hopefully those with all of the information at hand vs those just looking at from the outside and through the eyes of the media and articles. Hopefully they make the right decisions bc the wrong moves could Possibly add fuel to the fire. And the point of not wanting to let the wrong ppl in is clearly understood and there is a damn good chance there has been quite a few lurking around here for years from various foul organizations just been waiting to do some crazy shit. I personally feel we always look too far for threats even though we should focus far we shouldn't ignore the domestic threats and various tools to monitor them. Idk man I guess it's a don't be looking in the binos type thing too much for the enemy during the weird times bc you may just get blindsided.

No way, homeless veterans are a very serious issue. Those people give up so much for their country and receive nothing in return. I just saw that article today, and my brain associated the words homeless with that article.
