|Imaginary Enemy||It's definitely a one sided documentary. From what I saw though, the evidence that's in his favor is like looking at a red truck and saying it's red.|

|Imaginary Enemy||Finished watching it today and holy crap was that some corrupt shit. Definitely worth watching. From what I saw, I believe that he is innocent. Avery had some kickass lawyers. That first pussy Brendan had appointed to him should lose his license. Fuck that guy. Fuck all of those crooked cops, attorneys, and the judge.|

Honestly, it doesn't matter, at all, if he was guilty at this point. The evidence was clearly fucked and now there's literally no way to *ever* find out who actually killed that poor girl.
The worst bit of the story, for me, is how the police sandbagged that poor kid, the nephew that they had "confess." He had a verbal IQ of 69. He absolutely required a competency evaluation, and it's horrifying that he didn't get one (even more horrifying that his attorney didn't make any effort). He didn't know what the word "inconsistent" meant, let alone the gravity of the situation he was in or what his confessions/statements were doing to him and his uncle. It made me really, really hate those police officers. They knew what they were doing, coaching a statement out of him that they created for him, and it is despicable and heartbreaking to watch in real time.

|TCStang||I finally watched this over the weekend. I have to say at several points I was convinced he was innocent. Then several points thought he was guilty as hell. After it's all said and done I really have no clue ad guess we will never know. I will say the kid had a really shit lawyer and the fact that wasn't enough for an appeal was BS to me.|

I have three more episodes to go, and I'm a little disgusted with the way the justice system was run through out this whole process. How the cops get away with putting someone in jail for 18 years with out any repercussions.
The craziest thing about this whole thing is, where is the blood? If they had shot her, if they had clit her throat, whatever, there would have been blood everywhere. Nothing was bleached, nothing was cleaned... Where is the blood?

By the end of the series I was on the fence, leaning more towards him being guilty. But now I also consider the fact that the documentary was made for entertainment, and they purposely omit and alter facts. I've read several things about the case online that if they are true, it's indisputable in my mind that he's guilty.
I'm more interested in the Dassey case. It just doesn't sit right that he is serving the length of sentence he is.

I finished it a few days ago. There are too many red flags through out the whole thing. You can tell it was swayed for 'viewers' vs a documentary.
Why was the kid questioned without a lawyer or parent present? How come the whole video wasn't showed to the jury. The RAV4 key only had Stevens Dan. Not the owners. The key was WAY too clean for a 15+ year old key. Pin hole in the blood sample. Why would he risk his multimillion dollar settlement for some pussy. He had a gf he was banging already. The judge and jury already made up their minds long before the trial started. He had no chance. You can tell the police and lawyers had something up their sleev by their body movements, facial expressions, and word choices covering things up. Wh did it take 8 years for them to release him after the dective called and said they had the wrong guy in jail already. Police called in the plate without seeing it in Person, asking if the guy was in custody hey. Etc. just too many red flags. Also, the brother randomly guess his sisters Cingular username and password? There's no fucking way.

|8t6gt||How many episodes are there? I've been hearing about this, but I don't have Netflix, or actual Internet for that matter, so I guess I can't watch.|
