I've heard great things. That's cool you get to see a few places though. Will do man!

Will do, sir. Hopefully soonish!

I've been to Prague twice and planning another trip overseas early next year to Cologne, Germany for a photo workshop and then back to Prague to visit friends and do some photo shoots. Since I've been to Europe I am constantly wanting to go back. Love that place.

Well since the hack or whatever years ago I haven't been around here. I finally made a new username so I could partake in the action. I am formally known as Scott2001GT of course. I just wanted to say hi and give just a little update.

As for this build. It's dead. I sold all my 2v stuff and got into photography and traveling. Just recently I have gotten the itch back and bought a 351w longblock. Then I bought a house and haven't been able to do anything yet car wise. That said, I am going the SBF route. The build will be a little more simpler but still expensive as we know the car game is. Ideally my plans will be...

351w stock stock block
TFS heads
custom cam
Holley EFI high ram intake
Shearer Fab air2water cooler
Custom turbo kit
Bullseye turbo
MegaSquirt 3 engine managment
TH400
tubular frontend
Fuel cell or BBRC tank

I guess that's the gist of it and will start once I'm more back on my feet.

So again, hello all and looking forward to stopping in more often!

I was actually looking forward to seeing that custom intake finished up. The new list sounds like it will be just as fun. Got any PICS of the Ride?

Scott2001GT Chiseled never disappoints! Tab was broken during shipping. I guess the fragile stickers were overlooked. Robert replied within 5 mins of my e-mail after sending it and is going to send a new base out.

5.6gal tank with -16AN fittings for feed and return with a -8AN drain. Rule 2000 pump.

Scott2001GT And remember boost is relative.

Scott2001GT Not sure yet on timing Jive. I was hoping for mid 11 CR but this will do. I have a 6768 t4 footprint turbo with a .96ar on the turbine side. PTE rates it at 935hp. If I can squeeze 650-700whp out of it with the th400 I'd be a happy camper. If it chokes then an 80mm snail it is.

E85, air to water intercooler, stainless valves, step 2 colder plugs, and ceramic coated the pistons I hope not to have to worry much about detonation.

I have the 96-98' Cobra Ellipse T/B bc I got a great deal on it. So it's the smaller one. I can also upgrade to the oval later on it need to be but I doubt I'll have to.

Bringing my materials and drawings to the shop next Friday and I was told within the next two weeks my car will be started on as well.
I here you about the welding part I had my 8 point and subframes fabbed up by my bud at his shop. He has a ton of experience.

I'm dumb about the limits of high compression and boost using e85. I know you can get bigger power out of less boost pressure but I thought 20 psi wouldn't be possible with 11.8:1 even with E85? How much timing do you think you'll be able to command? I have seen people make 650 with just 13.5 psi with higher compression engines. 20 psi you'd think you be pushing 800+? That should allow you to use a smaller faster spooling turbo/SC.

If I want get close to that I would have to go YSI or a large turbo and at least push 26-30 psi with my low compression along with suitable fuel system and fuel.

I just wonder how my DSM bud can run 30 psi with only 93 octane pump and water/methenol injection?

Fabbed some COP stands today for the intake. Bought some coupling nuts and drilled out the threads. I then cut them down to fit snuggly under the COP tab.
Scott that's a really nice mock up. Your guy should have no problem making you something nice from that. My grandfather was always great at making mock ups and drawling up plans. He showed me how to do it when I was a kid. His projects always turned out great because of his meticulous preparation. I wish I had better welding skills and some metal working tools. I have limited fab experience but my last exhaust I did at home. It turned out nice considering I completed it without a welder and it was not prefabbed unit for my car. I used mac lt's cut before the ball flange to keep it a true 3" collector, custom 3" X-pipe I had made for my last set up unfortunately not mandrel bent pipe. Some summit mufflers that look like flowmaster knock offs. 3" tail pipes from the muffler back for a 94 5.0. It went over the axle fine but was a couple inches short. I used 3" to 4.5 clamp on dynamax tips with a rolled lip to bring it out passed the bumper. I had to cut off the hangers on the tail pipes since they were in the wrong place. Then using regular muffler clamps and some flat steel stock I was able to relocate the hangers to correct position like the stock exhaust. The other techs at work were surprised how well it turned out. Point being it feels good to fab or design something that works well yourself. I want to get a decent small welder and get better at welding. Plus some metal shaping and working tools and work on my fab skills. Building something with your own hands is very satisfying. I've considered going back to Wyotech and taking their chassis fab course.

What are you using for a TB? On my TFS I have the oval plenum and run an Accufab Single blade TB for the 98 Cobra. I had to make a cable bracket and use a cable for the 98 Cobra. I had to look forever find the cable. They sell 2 single blades one is a little smaller but I got larger one that was called the special single blade. With the 11.8:1 C/R how much timing can you run safely even with E85? What is a2w?

This a pic of my TB
