Update: I think I figured out what it connects to. I believe it goes to the line that goes across the firewall to the passenger side.
...now of course we'll see how it idles once the RTV cures and I can refill the coolant system.

I have an FL-1A on my relocation for the 4.3 that I'm dropping into my 03, and on the testing outside of the car, I had no issues with it. Have not run it on my 03.
I know neither of these is the exact setup you have but still good to know IMO.

91 Vacuum Leak
Long shot since I know hardly anyone frequents here-
I found a vacuum leak on the 91 we just picked up. There's a hose that comes from below the lower intake up to where the lower and upper intake meet. There it has an "F" shaped fitting in it, with one hose going to the upper intake. The problem is the other end has nothing on it. No hose, no plug, nothing. Where is this supposed to connect to? I can't find any good diagrams for an 8-plug Mustang.
As an aside, has anyone had issues with the FL-1A oil filters wanting to weep at the base unless you tighten the hell out of them?
