Well it’s evens older now. But I’m bored.
You put the trans in your car. Any 1/8th decent tuner can tune your stock wiring harness and pcm to run the manual transmission. If they claim it’s difficult, ditch them
immediately because they’re stupid and should not be touching a vehicle.

|freeloader||I know the post is old but anyhow, you'll need a standard ECM for your 2006. You don't need any wiring from the 2008 donor car. You can mod the 2006 automatic harness to work with the standard.|

Hey Everyone, I am new to MM and an hoping you can help me with my project.
I am swapping my Auto Trans from my 2006 GT to a Manual. I've already purchased a manual tranny from a 2008 GT.
can you advise if a 2008 ECU and 2008 wire harness will be compatible with my 2006 4.6 3v motor?
also, if you might know code for ECU i need.
Thank you and if you have any other suggestions & pointers I'd appreciate it.
A shop is doing my swap.
