Yea I know it's probably something stupid. I have a funny feeling it is the BOV. We took it up to 6600 rpms and dyno graph was still climbing

Sonic 02 So had the car on dyno yesterday dialed in AFR and set idle and start fuel. We tuned part throttle then did a couple pulls. Had a couple issues first being the valve gaskets leaked. It didnt leak during the heat cycles but should be easy fix. The second being the car would only make 6 # of boost. So will have to go back and check for exhaust and boost leaks. Bright side from the pull it's going to have some potentia once the boost problem is fixed.

Hell Ya man that is awesome. But you know you could just do C85 for special occasions?

You gotta watch that lead based Race gas it will make short work of your wideband sensors and your 02 sensors. It is hit or miss on how fast it happens

Sonic 02 Got the front bumper cover on today and the hood. It has been 4 years since the hood has been on. Also got the upper radiator support trimmed up and shaped.

Sonic 02 Just a little update I have been battling a lean reading on my wide band. I thought my o2 sensor on WB was bad. . I finally found the problem. I bought my Victor Jr used and previous own had drilled and tapped the intake to add a vacuum port. It was hidden under the 6061 elbow and I thought the sound I was hearing was normal TB noise. The weather has not been cooperating with getting the car to the tuners. I'm hoping to get it there before end of the week if I don't it will be March before I can take it.

Sonic 02 We got 2''' of rain last night and today so dyno appointment has to be rescheduled to the first of the year. Fabricator finally got the top radiator support to me today so worked on final fitting so it wasn't a complete wasted day off.

Wiring on transmission completed and transbreak tested . The relay pack for transmission looks a little intimidating but it was pretty straight forward. Also I fabricated a new front bumper support. I was going to buy tubular but made my own for about 10 bucks also made a bracket that mounts to stock steering wheel to hold the transbreak and line lock buttons.

Sonic 02 Got the exhaust finished so it's now coming out mufflers. Had quite a battle with abs delete .Dorman must have had a bad run on their T's. Ended up switching to npt T's to solve leaking problems. Plumbed the wastegate and boost controller up. Sent drawing over to have upper radiator support fabricated should get it on Monday Got transbreak button and the momentary switches in. So next week I'm going to try and get transmission wired up, and upper radiator support finished.

I made dyno appointment for December 21

SSG Pate Sounding Solid Man thanks for posting up that video I have been wondering what has happened to you lately.

I too couldnt fit anything other then a 3" piping through my K member
October 20th, 2018 12:38 PM
Sonic 02 I had to reduece the 4 inch downpipe to 3 inches to get it through the kmember. I have it all tacked up just have 1 more weld then exhaust is done . I also installed super high flow cat to pass visual inspection. Finished all the brake lines but found out I have a defective T that won't stop leaking. Line lock is wired up just needs to be powered. The hobbs switches are mounted and tested. This project is winding down. The to main things to be done is plumb up boost reference for wastegate and wire up FB transmission controller. When that's done tuner will come and pick it up then it off for 93 octane tune and race gas tunes

Sonic 02 After 4 long years finally first start up. Idling at 1k and running lean but my tuner sent me a couple tunes. Still have a lot of beautification to do but major step forward.
https://youtu.be/90-qVZLGIcc

Next is finish the flare for rear breaks, wire up freddy brown lockup controller and transbrake, getting down pipe to mid pipe done and fabricating a new top for radiator support
September 8th, 2018 04:43 PM
Sonic 02 Got the new intercooler brackets fabricated. The cold side welded up. Just have to redo the intercooler to throttle body pipe. I got the moroso 3 inch wheel studs installed on the front. I was having trouble getting them in so had to to remove the hubs and press them in on a press

Rotors look a little rusty but it's just from car sitting for 4 years

This week I'm going to flare rear break lines and . Fix the throttle body to intercooler piping. Moving intercooler threw
Angles off. Down pipe is going to need a lot modification if I can get all done it will be time for start up
