Mr. Red Pony | I think it is just one of those things that vary between car to car. |

Codeman | Mine has a spot where it rubs. I will try taking a pic of it tom. I had to shave across the whole top of my TB, I have a GT TB tho as well. Ill try getting a pic tom to show you what I mean. And you can see where it rubs on mine. But I also made my own custom angled spacer so mine could be a bit bigger than his. |

just a FYI the manifold bolts and rubber/plastic retainers are very expensive from ford and hard to get so that is why they are used. |

It's my first time working on the windstar manifold, and my first time with JB weld like that... No! The catch can adds 25hp! I just figured I might as well do it for $30, being as i have the 99 with the bad valve cover baffle... Between the EGR delete and the catch can, maybe my 93 oct gas will actually do what it's supposed to, now that it's not being diluted with exhaust and oil.

v6kid | If anything, one day i could go pick up another one for $20 and do it again. Way down the road. |

v6kid | Once again, another awesome insight. Thanks.... Does that hose not get too hot? It has to touch the lower manifold. |

Oh and if it matters I ran my other vacume line this way for a cleaner look. Requires a little cutting with porting tool.![]() ![]() |

Be carefull with spring on TB. Mine got pinched on angle plate and caused a vacume leak. I notched the plate slightly.![]() |

I also did me IAC like this. Much cleaner look. Got some copper 90"s from lowes (plumming)and silver sodier them together and painted black. I also notched the plastic so hose would bend around.![]() |

v6kid | That ever even crossed my mind... Thanks, Add that to the list of things to do. |

v6kid | yeah, I have two sets now lol. I kept all the hardware when i got the manifold from the junkyard and he sent me a set. I figured they would be new, at least not rusty. |
