An n/a gain of 20rwhp is a 40rwhp gain at 14.7psi boost.

Like a said the boost will force air into the engine making the 20ci gain less noticable since the blower crams in a fairly fixed amount of air. Ive never seen any dynos myself of engine making more power.

Also for the grand or so extra for a stoker is 20 hp really worth it? If your goin all racing maybe, but for most they can get alot more power for the money.

You're the first person I've heard say there was no power to be had in stroking a 4.6...seriously.

A stroker will make a minumum of 20rwhp/20ftlbs more than a stock ci engine with the same compression and cams. Because of the added cubes, the stroker will make peak power at a lower RPM than the 281 ci engine if it has the same cams as the smaller cube combo. Add cams that allow the stroker to take advantage of the extra cubes and the hp will peak at a higher RPM and the peak hp gain will be much greater.

I've never seen a 4v or 2v stroker not gain a significant amount of hp/tq.
You obviously aren't dealing with engines that were put together or spec'd correctly.

What myths? I cant say for certain bout the excess wear but I have a stoker and the dyno is nearly identical to the stock block so there is no power to be had. The boost may be negating the minimal increase in volume but being so small I doubt the gains will be noticeable. If there were gains to be had you would hear bout it like stroking the old 302s to 347.

Dude I have had this car for like 8 years. My life goal is not memorise my dyno numbers the last time some one asked about this car was ? i dont even know. I was just throwing in the numbers that I have and I really dont give a rat a** if you dont believe me look through my old f quick link. I havent updated that thing in years and who knows what it was dynoing at that time.

Just as a side note, that does NOT look like a nitrous + supercharger dyno... And that boost curve looks like a turbo boost curve. I am starting to get slightly suspicious. I also noticed you just changed the numbers in your signature...
