dragrace4fun | ^ Exactly. Oh, and I had my 100+ lbs in my trunk with subs, box, amp, and cap back then. Then again, it helped me plant power on my factory suspension. |

pitbull4.6 | I have no issues smoking camaros without the bottle. They may make more hp but for what ever reason they just dont seem to plant the power the way mustangs do. Its been like this since the 80's. |

Blackbird1084 | If they both have cams the camaro retains the edge. Spray him and don't look back. |

dragrace4fun | I ran with one of the newer Camaros once toying around; neck/neck but I had the grip advantage when I grabbed a gear. This was BEFORE I got the Bama tune issue sorted. I would leap ahead of him and 3rd gear I slightly pulled ahead...his front fender was about even with my mid-door area. Street tires (me on 275s), and he jumped me when I wasn't paying attention from a dig. Think you'd be surprised how little of an advantage that extra power does for them...depends mostly on the driver, I'd say. |

281pimp | He has the advantage on motor, but w/o drags that evens things up. Plus if his is manual and yours an auto, it will also depend on his driving. Launching a 6 speed on street tires vs/ an auto on drags could mean a whole 1 second off the 60ft. |

The nitrous is gonna be the key IMO. N/A vs N/A he'll get you, no doubt about that. As mentioned, LSX respond great to mods, especially cams. Do you have a tune for nitrous? I hope so... |

GerRod | If he can drive, you will lose N /A'ed. You sprayiny it'll be close. Pick em! |

JustcruisinGT | I just saw he had a cam, honestly now it depends on the size of the cam he installed. LSX motors respond incredibly well to a cam swap. He might be close to 500 rwhp.... |

JustcruisinGT | When I was just cat back, tune, and cai I raced a stock Camaro from a roll several times and even though he won it wasn't bad. He didn't really start to pull until around 100 mph or so |

I've played with a couple 2010+ Camaros. Both times at the track, both on street tires and both stock Camaros. I beat them both pretty easily and I'm not a very good drag race driver![]() I played with a couple of the really ugly Camaros on the street. Not full racing just spirited driving. One had an obvious cam swap. The other had at least LT's. Both fucked me up ![]() |
