Yeah, I needed some wheels quick and love the way these look, both in Chrome and Gunmetal, especially after seeing them on your car.

Hopefully this winter. I am slowly gathering the various other bits the nose will need to go on. I will need to get the hood still.

All while building a 408w.

The car runs very well, super smooth. There's only a couple of things that I still have to work with and what I've read its most likely due to the dual plane intake manifold I have. TBI based systems can work with them, but not super well, something about the air/fuel mixture never being quite right at certain times.

I haven't had alot of time to work on it lately, been out of town the last few weeks. But I have been daily driving it to work since the EFI install.

This may also be due to the linkage not being as smooth as a cable set-up (future project lol)

When I got the car out on the access road and punched the throttle, I was amazed. The car took off like a rocket with no hesitation, I couldn't believe how smooth the rpms climbed. With the Edelbrock carb it always had a bit of a bog as the secondaries opened then it went. I still need to keep an eye on it and take it for a few longer drives but right now I'd say the conversion was worth every bit of head ache I ran into.

Yeah I'm going to get a smaller air cleaner soon. I'm just worried about airflow, kind of silly I guess.

I noticed while chasing down a popping in the exhaust that I was missing a header bolt and a number of others were loose. I picked up some Ford Racing Stage 8 locking bolts. They look nice, however, I will need to trim the lock washer before any of them will fit with my headers. Another awesome plus is they have an allen key on the top, makes tightening them a breeze.

It looks great and went it without too many issues. However, it is quite a bit larger then the OEM distributors. Here's a few shots showing the clearance I have with a standard air cleaner size.

I was also having an issue with the cleaner base hitting the fuel line, so I got a nice 1/2" billet spacer.

For those that haven't seen the other thread, here's a shot of the engine bay (minus the shiny new distributor)
