|Matt.||Don't put an T off the drain plug, thats doing it the cheap way southfour Tap it about the middle height of the pan, I heard you do this for pressure reasons. Tap it, put in a fitting and JB weld the outside of it and your good to go.|

|6ixer||Yeahhhhh removing the oil pan is a bitch.....ask me how i know...lolololol it involves a jack some coolant and an oil pan haha|

HMM Splice the drain plug then. Run a threaded pipe into the drain plug hole that T's off to the turbo on side, and the drain plug on the other.

|Matt.||You just drain the oil and tap it, apply some geese so you dont make a spark and set the whole pan on fire. Take your time, I hear it sounds alot harder than it really is. You also might want to jb weld if after you tap to make sure its secure. As long as you dont get any shaving in the oil pan your good to go.|

Do I really need to remove the oil pan to tap it?
Do i really need to remove the oil pan to tap it for the turbo drain line?
Ive seen on the ssx website that they do not however everyone local that ive talked to says that it needs to come out since its cast aluminum and shavings get everywhere.
I really dont want to remove it, looks like a huge pain in the ass.
