"We must stop using the language of force and return to the path of civilized diplomatic and political settlement."

Something that this country has never really known. If we can't have it our way, war. The people know of civilized and peaceful ways of going about things, it's the government that isn't familiar with this way of problem solution.

This issue has played out pretty much how I predicted when it started. Obama will use everything in his power to delay military force and is kicking himself for his "red line" statement. To put it frankly we have no investment to lose if either side of that fight wins or loses. If the current government stays in power things will go back to normal. If the rebels win then things will be the same as before under a different rule. They are all the same kind of people. I say let them duke it out and lets focus on keeping our own country from ending up like theirs.

Did you guys catch the story today? Syria is going to agree to declare and turn over its chemical weapons and allow U.N. inspections, in exchange for the U.S. backing down. I’m not really in favor of starting another war, but ....

IS ANYONE REALLY THAT STUPID? SERIOUSLY? OBAMA! WAKE UP!

This is a standard tactic of Middle-Eastern defiance. Agreeing to inspections is a complete hoax. Syria will immediately start restricting the inspections by claiming certain places are “holy” or “unsafe” or claim that a particular inspection process “violates their sovereignty” or some shit like that. I guarantee it - just watch! The U.N. will find absolutely nothing that Syria doesn’t want them to find. The whole process will be a carefully choreographed dance of defiance - standard 101 Middle-Eastern maneuver. If Syria surrenders anything, it will be a minimal amount - just enough to satisfy the no-strike agreement.

Let’s not forget, the ultimate goal of Muslim nations is the destruction of Israel. Weapons of mass destruction are accumulated with that specific purpose in mind. Even if they have to hide - or surrender - their chemical weapons to another Muslim nation, that still keeps that weapon in play. They will need those weapons for the final jihad against Israel - whenever that day comes.

Lol, I think Putin has a hard on for Putin.

I was just having a conversation about Putin vs. Obama a few seconds ago lol. He said that the way that Putin carries himself is very "unstatesmanlike". I told him, "you think that because you're an American where carrying yourself less than 100% proper will land you on the front page of every newspaper and top story on every news broadcast." I told him that people in Russia LOVE this sort of behavior by Putin (I am Russian) and that he does it for the people. America doesn't see leaders carry themselves like this that's why it's so foreign and cool. In Russia, this is pretty normal now. Anyway, just giving a little insight on this whole, Putin is a bear wrestling, game hunting, super cool guy.

Garry Kasparov Tees Off on Putin and ?The New York Times? - The Daily Beast

My personal favorites:

Must sleep, early flight. In morning I expect to see a Putin cooking column in Le Monde & Putin football column in El Pais.

and

While Putin was writing for the NY Times with one hand, the other signed more orders for weapons for al-Assad to murder more of his people.

Huh? I shoot right handed with my left eye... There's actually a ton of people who do. It just has to do with being right handed and left eye dominant.

EeeYahhhh! It can be done, but it's improper. If you are going to sight with the right eye, you should shoot a right handed bow - or shoulder the weapon to your right shoulder. If you are going to sight with your left eye, you should shoot a left handed bow - or shoulder the weapon to your left shoulder. The ergonomics of bows, crossbows, and (shouldered) firearms are significantly degraded by cross-eye sighting. Again, it can be done - but it's not correct. Handguns are a more forgiving to ambidextrous sighting in this regard, but it's still a poor practice. No guitar teacher would encourage a left-hander player to learn to play a right-hand guitar upside down? But if the player has already learned it the wrong way, there's often no going back. Here's more information on the topic published by my company ... Eye Dominance Conflicts, Archery Help Article - Hunter's Friend

Ahhh... Didn't realize we were talking crossbows since the picture is a handheld gun and you said gun. I have honestly never shot a bow or crossbow but I can say with fair confidence that you are not safe within 50 yards of me with my handgun.

I shoot like crap with my right eye or with my left hand (or even worse with both out together lol).

As for your comparison to a guitar, really? I mean seriously, really? Lol

This is a topic better discussed in the ammo barn section. If you would like to make the thread I would be more than happy to discuss it with you.

Putin has seen a gold mine in front of him. This is him going for that gold mine to undermine the US public. Sorry guys, Putin might be right about Syria but this isn't just about being a swell, great guy for Putin either.

It's kind of like the ending of the Watchmen. Peace, but at what cost?

Just kidding. Seriously, who gives a fuck about perception if the actual goal is accomplished. Forward to 4:22 for relevant piece.
