I am guessing that you are looking to level the touch up paint blobs. That will require wet sanding. Polishing alone will not do it.

Are you seeing scrathes from sanding or polishing? I am not sure if you need to use a wool pad if you are sanding down to 3000 grit. Try the 105 on a light cutting pad then use your finishing pads....

Eagle A to Z is also a good OTC wheel and tire cleaner. For sealants I like something with cleaners. Duragloss is a good choice. 105 or 501.

I would use a Lake Country Tangerine pad and one of the following polishes, Megs #205, Optinum Hyper polish, Sonax Perfect Finish, or HD polish. All are pretty good one stepper.

The pads and products all depends on the condition of your paint and the defects you are trying to remove. You may only need 205 on a light cutting or polishing pad.
