New mods for my car

Well this is my first post here and was wondering what I should do next performance wise.
I have a 98 v6 auto.
Current mods: CAI, Flowmaster h pipes, sct tuner.

I was thinking of going with 4.10's and t-lok then going with some udp.

What do you guys think? Tell me what your opinions are on this and what I should do next. And would be nice for some opinions to do after the mods I was thinking of doing.

well before you get UDP's do you plan on having a good sound system or plan on ever going with a super charger?

By good sound system do you mean subs and amp or non-stock speakers?

Got a tuner about 2 weeks ago with custom tunes from Bama. It runs so much faster now with it tuned! How much do headers and shift kits cost?

you could get a decent set of headers for 180-300 bucks probably.....i have bbk shortys on mine, but they came on there so i dont know the price.....shift kit -- i dont know....but the auto mustangs have alot of lag so a shift kit along with the t-lok and gears and UDP's would be awesome!!!!

don't waste your money on underdrive pullies. save it for gears if you want to continue modding your v6, otherwise save for a v8 stang

good luck

I hate it when people say save it for a gt or w/e... I have a v6 because I want to mod a v6. If I wanted to mod a gt I would of gotten a gt. And thank you for the info 98v6.

must have a lot of money to spend to get some decent power out of those old v6's, interesting build tho, good luck!

I'm not trying to thread steal but seriously, I'm with you man. It is so frustrating to hear, 'You should just save and get a v8!' No, I won't. Why? I have a v6. And a lot of people here chose a v6 over a gt, why? Could've been price, fuel, or they don't want a v8 at that time. Modding a car is something we all, apparently, have a passion for. I don't tell you to go out and get a GT500 when you want to mod your GT, right? Don't tell us to buy a v8. It's a very nice gesture but we will let you know when and if we plan to buy a v8. Now, i'm not trying to attack you jhills, you were really polite about it, I'm just sick of people constantly telling me, 'Hehehe, get a v8, you won't do shit with a v6!' It's frustrating when we all have mustangs and yet nobody acknowledges that we might like our v6's and want to hold onto them.

So, thats my rant.

Besides that I think you should save for a t-lok and gears. Though i'd say https://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...bout-mods.html is the place you want to look, rather then ask here you can see all the mods available for your car and pick one you like.

We kinda get screwed when it somes to headers on 98's , Shorty headers do hardly anything but dress up the engine bay and long tube headers won't fit unless you modify the k member. But it can be done! Just requires more work

CAI, Screamin' Demon Coil, Livewires, Steeda Tri-ax, Steeda Clutch Quadrant and Adjuster, UDP, 8.8 rear end with 3.73's, 1/2 inch VAP intake spacer, SCT X3.

So will I get any gains from either or a better sound? Or just dress up?
