The Great Screw/Bolt Thread

I'm sick and tired of forgetting and not having the correct tools on hand. I'm going to make a screw/bolt thread starting now of any and every screw I come across/know off the top of my head.

Feel free to add below and I will compile into this original Post.

Seats:
Floor Bolts: 15mm Socket
Rear-Seat (Convertible): 10mm Socket
Rear Seat-Belt Bolts (Convertible): 10mm & 12mm
Seat-Belt Bolts: T45

Convertible:
Frame Mounting Bolts: T50

Gauge Cluster:
Cluster Back to Cluster Computer: T15
Cluster Bezel: T20
Cluster to Dash: T20
Cluster Face Protector: T15

Door:
Door Lock Actuators: T27
Door Panel: Philips (x) Head

Steering Column:
Steering Wheel to Column: T50

Driveshaft:
Driveshaft to Rear-End: 12Point - 12mm Deep Socket

Engine:
Cold-Air Intake: 5/16" or Flat-Head
Tensioner: 6-point 18mm
Throttle Body: 8mm
Upper Intake: 6-point 10mm

Body:
Hood Hinge: 5/16"
Hood Scoop GT Takeoff: 8mm
Rear Bumper: 11mm
Rear Bumper Reflectors: 10mm
Trunk Hinge: 5/16"

I memorized the bolt that holds the door lock actuators on is a T27.

ive changed a ton of stuff on my car and most basic socket sets should have whats needed.


only 2 fasteners ive come across that i had to buy a tool for was

driveshaft to rear end bolts (12 Point 12mm deep socket)
Steeringwheel to steering shaft bolt (Torx 50)

Ya a basic metric socket set would be the way to go with a basic torx set. You could get a decent set of each for around 100 total at sears.

Ya it gets to be a pain not having the right tools. Im a GM mechanic and when I go home and work on my car I don't have near the tools I have at work and it is frustrating. I am always thinking oh this would be easy if I had my 15mm swivel socket or my 1/4 air ratchet. I do however sometimes bring home tools if I know I got a big job.


UDP, CAI, True Duals, LTs, 91 Tune from TT, 3.73 gears, Tlok,Windstar upper, GT TB, Ported lower, Comp 218/226 cam, FRPP C Springs, J&M LCA, Tokico Blue shocks and struts, and J&M Full Length Subframe Connectors

Seat belt bolts is a t45, intake bolts are 6 point 10mm. tensioner is 6 point 18mm.

Damn, if this would have been around like 3 months ago i could tell you every nut/bolt size on the front suspension XD

did you have a ball joint press? did you soak them in wd-40 or PB blaster the night before? Worked like a charm on mine. Also, you may need a long pipe and a strong arm.
