i had to make due with 225's on an 8.5" wheel for about 2 months... i hated every minuet of it and hate the road rash my wheel has now. luckily plastidip covered most of it.

it wasn't even that stretched... it just kinda poked the lip out

fit like this... hated it

Why would you want to stretch a tire anyway? It looks goofy

We drive mustangs, American muscle, not little rice burners. American cars "go big or go home" not the crap with stretched tires and camber-galor.

Besides that why would you want to? The manufactures set a safe wheel size for each tire, why go outside of that? That's just unsafe..

Run a 315 on that 10.5

I think they suggest a 305 for the 18s right? But nothing beats standing behind a car with a big wide rear tire, its mean

For you people who seem clueless on what this guy is refering to: stancenation.com , the stretching of tires on insanely wide rims and then sitting with insane amounts of negative camber is what the kids do to they're imports these days, started in Japan and has caught on like wildfire here. I look at it as the new fart cannon.

As for op, save money for more worth while stuff that one go in and out of style. I honestly like the way stanced cars look but stretched tires are just straight up dangerous and bound to fail and RUIN your expensive ass 10 inch wide rims. Plus the negative camber will wear the tires raw in the corners. And if you have a v6 mustang DO NOT DO THIS!! not only will it look wrong but people will definitely make fun of it and hate on you for doing that to an American car. Sry kinda ranted.

Well it seemed a few folks weren't sure why he'd want to have stretched tires. And its cuz of the Japanese, blame them not me.
