I'm done with it

I'm not buying anymore parts, no more sweat going into it, and definitely no more busted knuckles on this car...i did a continuity test bought a wiring diagram for it and nothing is wrong with it just that I can find....the CEL won't go away and it will always have that code.....i don't know if I should run the car like that and just let it be or what? Im thinking of just leaving it to rot, or part it out.

So what was wrong with it? I remember reading things about it but can't remember.

If you were to leave it to rot id sell it but of course take off what you cab if you have stock replacement and buy a new stang

Its for the o2 sensors, the code won't ever go away. I have all the stock parts for it as well

if you get rid of it you will most likely hate yourself later, unless of course you really want a newer stang.
yes i know, who wouldnt???
just sounds like you need to let it set for a day or two and take a deep breath.
i think anyone who mods, has had the same feelings you are right now.

are the O2 senors bad? i am sure you checked that...just saying. maybe swap them out with a set you know works.

i know this wont fix the problem, have them tuned out.

Is the car not running right? I know I've read about the various codes, but I can't recall seeing anything about driveability.

M90 setup done, and slightly running lol. Working on self tuning now

Yeah man, just take a breather and do something else. A lot of the time, it's absolutely stupid things that you don't think of at first, then you come back to it and think "I'm a fucking moron for not seeing that". I mean worst comes to worse, it's just a ghost code. Something in your tune maybe?

My #8 fuse was blowing and I was throwing: P01451, P0135, and P0155

Tested many areas for myself using a multimeter. Spent 5-6 hours searching for the short. Took the car to my local mechanic... o2 sensor shorted. Mechanic replaced it. Spent less than $200.

Probably could have found the o2 sensor going bad by myself.. But the shop found it alot quicker and has access to a lift.

Lesson: instead of beating yourself up, just take it to a reputable mechanic.

Dang that sucks! How's it driving? Im sure you've checked bit what does the code come back as lol just curious. But if it's driving fine and bothering you you that much take out the gauges and cover up the cel lol

Or like I said man, if you leave it to rot and upsets you that bad, sell it....it's gonna be hard I know. I sold my sixxer and killed me! And the worst is I see it around town and miss it but in the end I got something I always wanted was a saleen! It was my dream car and I loved my sixxer, don't get me wrong, I did a lot to it but still no matter what I dont think I would ever been as happy with it and or as happy as now that I've have my dream car. It's a tough decision I know man.

I know it will be hard,i already got an offer for it, but I just can't talk my self into selling it that quick. I found a gt new edge with 76,xxx miles for 6,500$ bone stock. Hopefully I'll man up and pick it up.

Why would you sell it because of a check engine light? If it runs well, just run the piss out of it and have fun with it. I would take it to a tuner, get it tuned and drive it...
