acouple problems

a little over a month ago I had to jam on my brakes hard not to T-bone a truck in the driver's door that pulled out in front of me. after that now on the occasion when im at a red light or stop sign and I take my foot off the brake and hit the gas I feel the back wheel spin but im stuck in place for a second before I launch off.

Is this a sign my brakes are seizing up or do you guys think I have a bigger problem???

another problem ive been having recently is I get the check fuel cap pop up on my dash. I fucked up and didn't put the gas cap on tight after the last fill up and this warning wont stop popping up after I got it back on right.

just wondering if this takes time to go away or if I need to unhook the battery to clear it?

Go to an Auto parts store or a garage and have them read your codes and reset them, that should fix the gas cap does sound like your front brakes are not releasing or the rotors are warped
