I Raced a 2017 Camaro V6 and I won!

Hi all,
If you live in southern California you would know about the Conejo Grade is a 7% grade more than a mile on the 101 freeway.
So anyways This Camaro (335 HP) wanted to race me up the grade and we were neck to neck, then (he has a 6 speed I assume) he shifted to 5th (I assume) and he dropped like a rock behind me when he shifted. (We were 110-115 MPH) I was in 4th gear the whole time (I always down shift to 4th right befor the grade starts) . I continued to accelerate because I could!

Camaros are heavier than our generation mustangs. It is literally an uphill battle for them.

Wow sorry for the late reply,

Tires, Nitto INVO 265 35 18 inch on 9 inch rims (this changed my gearing -7.5%).
Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust for a GT (which are duel chamber) and with an H pipe
SCT Tuner using the pre programed tune.

I can't get over how fast my Stang is and yes it's a 5 speed

It was one of those rare times the freeway had 2 open lanes, no lane changing, I don't do that at high speed.

Cheer's!
