Windstar upgrade

Do you have to get rid of the Egr system if you install the windstar intake?

depends on your state's emission laws.
most of the time if your state's laws don't require cats, you can delete the EGR.

i have a windstar and if you can snag up a proper windstar EGR mounting bracket, as in it matches the year of the windstar you have, you can keep your EGR. thats what i did.

As long as you arent doing the 6-12 windstar intake then just grab the egr mounting bracket from the lower intake from the windstar. You'll have to bend your egr tube a little bit to get it to line up properly but it will work, had it on mine for about a year.
