A 6R80 swap has certainly been done but AFAIK, nobody has attempted a 10R80 swap though. Seems rather pointless anyway 'cause the torque curve of the 4.6 3V isn't suited to a tranny with 10 close ratios.
Do a 6R80 swap instead and save yourself a big headache.

I dont think anyone makes a controller for the 10r80 yet. Like bullitt said its pretty pointless anyway.

USSHIFT is working on a 10R80 controller now but it is still in testing phase. As someone who has a 6R80 in my terminator swapped 2000 GT it’s a relatively easy swap and I would say for now it’s the ideal swap for a street/strip car
