Will a high rise intake and 750 carb work without hitting the factory hood in and 85 GT?

For what it's worth my friend had an 89 notch with a stock hood and a Victor junior intake topped with a holley 670.

Damn, that sucks... Lol. I would hate to have to get a hood just for an intake :( EFI ftw

car came with the hood. so honestly i dont know for sure, but i highly doubt it as it sticks up pretty high. I would assume thats why the previous owner got the cowl.

I solution to the problem was getting motor mounts that lowered the motor alittle. Worked perfectly. I needed new mounts anyway so in all it worked out great
