OK I have a 1989 mustang gt that I am currently working on, I have rebuilt the motor, when I bought it, it had gt-40 heads and gt-40 upper and lower intake on it. Now that the engine is back in, it over heats like crazy. Also I am noticing smoke coming from the rear of the engine. Can anyone help me with this issue.

The smoke could be a number of things, it could be the oil you've put in there is burning up, or is getting mixed up with anti-freeze and burning.

The overheating problem could be the radiator not working right and not enough anti-freeze. You might not have enough coolant in the engine's system right now. and may have a leak or something.

This is just a very small list of what it could be but one of the bigger problem lists people run into. hope it helps!
