Yeah I knew theres a HP difference, but it's hard to find a video that compares stock exhaust mani+ o/r H pipe + Flowmasters to LT + all the other stuff..
You have to be making more then what you claim.. If you are running a full PI swap motor then it is rated at 260hp and 6psi which in theory you get 10hp per pound of boost then here is a formula you can use with a calculator to get pretty close to your RWHP..Well accualy it should be around 260 or so now. My car is Full Npi.
Nuh uh!!! My cars full npi/at and I ran a 14.8. Just saying. And I'm sure I can get better than that if I had better tires and more practice. That was my first and [so far] only time at the track...don't bother with the PI Heads--- they really don't gain much over the npi.
Just put on the PI intake and PI cams, the intake would REALLLLLLY waken up your car..the npi intake is sooo restrictive.
BTW mr. purple car-- you have auto or manual? Just wondering...most npi autos stock run 15.8 in the 1/4 mile and run 160 ( auto)- 180 ( manual) rwhp stock. So the person before was correct. (215 hp at the crank)
With a Torque converter and swapping out the pully for 9lbs of boost, retune- ill be running low 12's all day long. NPI heads just have a bad rap.
If you get rid of those ricer headlights you would be faster..Nuh uh!!! My cars full npi/at and I ran a 14.8. Just saying. And I'm sure I can get better than that if I had better tires and more practice. That was my first and [so far] only time at the track...
If your car is a 5spd then yes i can see the high 14' 1/4 mile timeNuh uh!!! My cars full npi/at and I ran a 14.8. Just saying. And I'm sure I can get better than that if I had better tires and more practice. That was my first and [so far] only time at the track...
Its an auto..Nuh uh!!! My cars full npi/at and I ran a 14.8. Just saying. And I'm sure I can get better than that if I had better tires and more practice. That was my first and [so far] only time at the track...
PI cams are not the answer you need a custom grind to bring out the real power of the NPI heads because the exhaust needs to be lower then the intake and it is ass opposite on the PI heads.. See my thread on this matter.
