Hi guys, New to the forums and just looking to get some info. I have a 65 mustang that me and dad built a few years back. Started its life with the 200 straight 6 then had a pumped up 302 around 350 horse and about 5 mpg... so i decided to go to a 2.3l turbo out of an 88 turbo coupe. Found my donor car and have had the motor apart and put back together. Im wondering what all im able to do away with. Ive only been around carb N/A v8s so not sure and could use some help. Can i get away with no map sensor? Looking for some help thanks.

I've always wanted to do the same thing in a '67-'69. This may be a thread for us in the 2.3 section though.

The MAP is Manifold Absolute Pressure. A little important for a pressurized motor.

What wiring harness are you using for the swap? Custom or a turbocoupe harness?

Using the stock harness from the turbo coupe. Just from looking at some other builds people have done it looks like alot is missing. Been doing as much research as possible and seem to be getting no where so i figured id try my luck with you guys.
