My family owns a body shop and we have a mexican mechanic that is great with motors and such. What would it take to drop a 351 in a 2000 GT? Would it fit and how would it bolt up to my running gear. The car has high miles and just wanted to find out what it would take. I have great connections when it comes to motors and like i said, the mechanic to do the work(cheap). Is this possible? Thanks fellas!!!

As far as I know, a new K-member is a must... and I do believe a bellhousing to mate to the T45... of course, it depends on if you want to run carb or EFI... either way, it won't be as simple as it sounds, but I do think pushrod engines in new edge Stangs is pretty badass.
