Will a 8.8 1990 trunck style rear end fit in a 2000 v6 mustang and how much shorter will it be and i also know i will have to convert to 5 lugs

doubt it i had a similar question about a 8.8 ranger. u'll prolly have to move shocks/struts as well is what they told me about the ranger.

not worth the trouble of doing the swap...1.) you dont need it yet and 2.) yur gonna go through too much trouble to make that work

i know i dont need it yet i was just gonna go ahead and do it cause i was gonna do it and my transmission so i could go ahead and hace it ready for my turbo set up and motor.

the mounting tabs are going to be different... and you will need to measure the rear end from side to side... to make sure that it will fit right... other wise its nothing more then and hour of chopping and welding to make the tabs line up right...

but to answer your question, it might fit, it will not bolt straight up

ok! i know its gonna be a little shorter anyone know where i might can get one
