I have a 2001 Ford Mustang I just replaced the battery a couple weeks ago as well as changed out the fuel pump the fuel tank in the fuel sending unit the gauges were working fine this is mainly about the gas gauge but it was working perfectly fine and then shortly after that I programmed a remote entry that my car did not come with and that’s when the problem started basically ever since our beeping started happening whenever I turn the lights on then after the beeping went away the car temperature gauge will go all the way up and then back to normal now that the temperature gauge is back to normal the gas gauge is all the way up and won’t change how do I fix my gauges

Since it started after installing the unit my money is on the keyless entry.

I don’t think it’s a problem with how it’s programmed, I think it’s an installation problem. Not knocking anyone, but I’d bet the wrong wires were tapped into.
