I recently bought a highly modified 03 Cobra and I am trying to figure out what it has for tuning done on it. I did find a cord underneath the steering wheel with a phone cord style end? Would this be for tuning purposes? I have never seen a cord like that wired in...

Tuning is done via chip or the obd2 port under the dash.

What you have good sir is either the plug in for a wideband 02 sensor for the purpose of tuning or a wideband gauge.......or a remote gain control for an amp.
