ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. About a year ago I put a cheap sr performance throttle body on my car(terrible decision I know) worked decent for a little while. Had some issues but was able to drive it. I finally broke down and bought a bbk. Put it on last night. Went through the procedure as they explained it in their video. Went through, checked voltage of the tps(also new) set the spring correctly. Started the car and wanted to idle around 2500-3000 for a minute then would throw the wrench light and then go to running rough. If anyone else has experienced this..please give me your input. Thanks

I ported my stock TB and it works great.

My problem is...my stock one was bad which is when I bought that sr performance. So when i put the bbk on and still had issues...they said to send it back because it may be bad. But it doesn’t seem right for 2 different types of throttle bodies to do the same thing. Definitely something with the car. Just can’t figure it out

Have you pulled codes yet. What stored codes are being reported.? 2,500 - 3,000 RPM is not idle. You probably have an air leak somewhere.

My bet is the tps. I had similar issues when I swapped a bbk tb on my 09 p71. I couldn’t figure it out until I watched tps voltage. I’d stab the throttle and watch it go back down to baseline but it would go to a different voltage every time. I swapped the tps with a known hood one and all has been good.
